On the way to a decarbonized society

In May 2016, the German and Japanese Ministries of the Environment declared their intention to cooperate in the dissemination of technologies to realize a society without fossil fuels.

There are already some successful collaborations between German and Japanese institutions and companies in this field. The results and experiences from the cooperation will be presented on 24 March 2017 at a half-day technology forum at the Japanese Embassy in Berlin (Hiroshimastraße 6, 10785 Berlin).

Prof. Dr. Schellnhuber from the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research will give an introductory talk. In joint presentations, top German and Japanese companies will present technological developments in the field of fuel cells.

Following the programme, a reception will be held at the Ambassador's residence from 18:00.

Organizer is the Ministry of Environment Japan (MoEJ)
