Nils Temmen

NilsTemmen joined ECOS in intercultural project management in July 2015.

He studied Geography and Economics at the University of Osnabrück from 2008 and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts. He then gained basic knowledge of Japanese language and culture during a stay in Japan lasting several months. In 2015, he earned his Masters degree in Economic Geography from Leibniz University Hannover. Parallel to his studies, he completed various internships, e.g. at the IHK Osnabrück-Emsland-Grafschaft Bentheim in the department "Location Development, Innovation and Environment".

Nils Temmen acquired special skills at ECOS and others. in the following projects:

  • German-Japanese cooperation project "Smart Community Speyer" (2015-2016) commissioned by a Japanese consortium,
  • German-Japanese Expert Council on the Energiewende in cooperation with the Wuppertal Institute and Hennicke Consult, financed by the German Federal Environmental Foundation, the Mercator Foundation and the Federal Foreign Office as well as the Japanese Ministry of Economic Affairs (METI)
  • Organization of the German-Japanese Environmental and Energy Dialogue Forums,
  • Organization of the German-Japanese Economic Forums.
